Room Representative Forms
Congratulations on becoming room parent for your childs class. This will be a great year and we know
you will do a fabulous job.
Don't worry! The job of room parent is not difficult. The most important job is to work closely with your
classroom teacher. We will have three classroom parties this year; Fall, Winter, & Valentine's Day. Your
primary responsibility will be making sure the parties are taken care of. Each party should have a party
coordinator. While you will need to keep in contact with that person, let them plan accordingly for their
party. The party coordinator should be the one to make sure there are enough volunteers for the party
and to take care of the details.
Also, we encourage you to organize something special for your teacher during Teacher Appreciation
Week. This is the first week in May. It is also thoughtful to find out your teacher's birthday. It is lots of fun
to celebrate this as a class, but it is completely optional. Please reference the folder in the office to learn
more about your teacher.
Thank you so much for volunteering to help out! We appreciate your willingness to take on this
responsibility and get involved.
Below are some forms that might be helpful through out the year.
